Compose a crop frame on the transformed image

Choose one JPEG, PNG, or WebP image up to 25 MB and 25 million pixels. Place a whole-pixel crop frame, use the visible ratios and six frame presets, rotate or flip the preview, then review the returned result.

The visible frame is the coordinate frame

The editor draws the selection on the transformed preview. After a 90° turn, width and height swap for both the visible frame and the server crop, so entered X, Y, width, and height values refer to the same image geometry.

Ratio tokens

Choose free selection, 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, 2:3, or 9:16.

Frame presets

Six visible presets set a matching crop ratio: Instagram Post, Instagram Story, Facebook Post, Twitter/X Post, LinkedIn Post, and YouTube Thumbnail.

Transform controls

Turn the preview 90° left or right, or flip it horizontally or vertically before placing the crop frame.

Set the frame, then inspect the returned crop

A crop operation uses one source image and one frame. The result reports its returned dimensions and decoded input format.

  1. 1. Place one source image

    Select a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image. Its decoded dimensions establish the source frame.

  2. 2. Compose the visible crop

    Move or resize the frame, select a visible ratio or preset, and use rotation or flips when needed.

  3. 3. Review the returned crop

    Check the returned width, height, and format, then download and inspect the image in its intended context.

Fixed checks apply to every crop

MIME type, matching filename extension, container signature, decoded content, input bytes, input pixels, coordinates, bounds, output pixels, and returned output bytes are checked. JPEG remains JPEG, PNG remains PNG, and WebP remains WebP.

Review dimensions, format, and the downloaded file

A preset sets a crop ratio only; it does not indicate a requirement or acceptance rule of a named service. Check the returned image where you plan to use it.

Which crop ratios are visible?

The editor shows free selection, 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, 2:3, and 9:16.

Do rotations change crop coordinates?

Yes. The editor and server use the same transformed image frame. A 90° rotation swaps the visible frame dimensions before the crop coordinates are applied.

Which limits apply?

Input is limited to 25 MB and 25 million pixels. The crop is limited to 25 million pixels and the returned output to 50 MB.
